Sacraments 2023
Congratulations to all the boys and girls in second and sixth class who received the sacrament of confirmation and communion recently.
Sport
We have been very busy recently taking part in a lot of sporting activities. Our 5th and 6th class boys and girls took part in the FAI 5 a side soccer tournament. Our U11 and U13 hurling and camoige teams took part in the Cumann na mBunscoil tournaments around North Tipperary. Our U13 camogie team were victorious in their blitz in Ballinahinch and went on to play Ayle NS in the county semi final. They were the winners on the day and are now through to the county final in Semple Stadium. We are very fortunate to have two pupils representing our school both in Hurling and Swimming. Our 1st and 2nd Class took part in an indoor hurling tournament in Kiladangan hall. 5th Class all passed their cycle safe assignments with flying colours. We are very privilege in YNS to have a fantastic dance teacher, Bernadette taught all the classes lovely Irish dances. We had our in school hurling tournament every Friday at lunchtime and it was a great success. Juniors to Sixth Class have also been taking part in swimming every Thursday.
